Bridget Justen Principal Al-Mizhar American Academy

Bridget Justen’s career in education spans over twenty-five years. Her university degrees include a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, and a higher degree in Educational Specialist for Administration of Education and Policy Studies. She is certified as an administrator for Elementary, Secondary and as a Superintendent.

Prior to joining Al-Mizhar American Academy, Bridget was the Principal/Head of a large American School, Eisenhower Elementary, Boulder, Colorado and two IB International Schools, Munich International, Germany and Greenfield Community School, U.A.E. During her time as the senior leader, each school’s academic performance was raised and a strong sense of school community was developed.

In addition to impacting the quality of education within her schools, Bridget’s contributions to education have included serving as the President of the Principal’s Association for the Boulder Valley School District, Colorado, curriculum development of the U.S. National Standards and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years’, and serving as an evaluator and consultant for the International Baccalaureate for schools in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
