Iain Colledge Principal Raha International School

After beginning his teaching career in England, Iain moved to the Middle East and has over 15 years experience of 3-18 international school leadership. He has led schools in Libya, Bahrain, Jordan and Thailand and has been instrumental in delivering school improvement and expansion projects, whilst delivering the highest quality of education to all students in his care.

He set up World Academies in 2010, and has led on school strategy, start-up, expansion and improvement projects in the UK, North Africa, Middle East, Asia and across Europe. These projects have included feasibility studies, business planning, strategic development, recruitment, financial modelling, architectural planning, curriculum development and project managing school start-ups for the private and public sector.

Iain is a member of The Society of Education Consultants, a supporting member of The Council of British International Schools and a qualified inspector for Ofsted. He is also a board member and trustee of North West Academies Trust, a company dedicated to operating academies in England. He joined Raha International School in 2016 as Principal.
